oh i am so sorry to hear that.its very very sad.
Awwww I am so sorry Sobia, that is really a shame that a dog cant even run around on its own property without being shot. That is just horrible.
It is just so shocking that someone would poach on our land, then kill all our animals.
We have no idea who it was or else, yes we could have done something legally to them.
We have no trespassing posted everywhere.
oh my god, that is so cruel!!! i am so sorry! How can people be so insensitive and don't care about animals like that?:(
I am so sorry. That makes me so sad and angry! Can your parents put up cam corders in some of the trees around the area of the property where they think the dogs were killed? My guess is the vermin that killed them will be back to poach.
They might also alert the sherrif and let him know that anyone without permission to be on their land will be shot on site due to what happened to your dogs.
I know that is possible in the south under- protecting the family (I lived there for 6 years remember).
Give your parents my condolences. That is just an awful way to start the holiday season.
Here's hoping someday a couple of more dogs that need to be loved will be able to live in peace at your folks.
ps- if your folks can do the cam corder and catch folks on tape- they can be prosecuted for tresspassing... they might want to put up signs that say video survellience in use- and all tresspassers will be shot on sight.
OMG Sobia! That makes me nauseous. WTH is wrong with people? How could they do this? *shaking head* ... I am so sorry for your parents. My Mom would go into such a deep depression if this happened to her dogs. They are like regular family members to her.
I would not let the kids run around there during hunting season. Obviously there are some sick stupid people out there.
I hope you guys set up a video camera or SOMETHING and find out who these people are on your land. They should be put in jail and have their hunting licenses taken away (if they even have one.) What jerks!!
That is just so sad, Sobia.
My father goes hunting and he and his brothers 'rent' a huge farm to hunt. It's a vast area, but they all go around to the people that have houses and tell them they'll be hunting for the weekend (out of courtesy).
I'm not into the whole hunting thing, but if you're gonna do it - have the common sense not to shoot someone's dogs! Sheesh. And if they were barking, then try to figure out whose dogs they were!!!

It freaks me out here too because you here the echo of guns and the other day they were very close. Freaky. What idiots to shoot your parents dogs. No regard for life.
